Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or using Briefwin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Briefwin Service
Briefwin helps users turn client briefs into proposal drafts, organize scope, pricing, timelines, and share proposal links with clients. The service is designed to support your proposal workflow, not replace your professional judgment.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. Plan limits, features, prices, usage allowances, and billing intervals are shown before you subscribe. Plan limits, features, and usage allowances may vary by plan and may change over time. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan until cancelled.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription anytime from your billing settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing. Unless stated otherwise, access to paid features continues until the end of the paid billing period.
6. Refund Policy
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. Cancellation stops future billing, and access continues until the end of the paid billing period unless stated otherwise. Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods.
If there is a billing mistake or serious payment issue, contact us at support@briefwin.app within 7 days and we will review the issue. Nothing in this section limits any rights required by applicable law.
7. User Content and Generated Proposals
You own the briefs, proposal details, client information, pricing, and other content you enter into Briefwin. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving generated proposals before sharing them with clients.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Generated proposals are drafts. Briefwin does not guarantee proposal accuracy, legal correctness, pricing correctness, client acceptance, or business outcomes. You should verify all content before using it in client communications.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use Briefwin for fraud, spam, illegal services, misleading proposals, impersonation, abusive content, or any activity that harms other people, the service, or the integrity of client communications.
10. Public Proposal Links
Public proposal links may be viewed by anyone with the link unless protected by password or access controls available in the product. Only include information you are comfortable sharing with link recipients.
11. Intellectual Property
Briefwin, including its product design, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by Briefwin or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Briefwin intellectual property to you.
12. Service Availability
We work to keep Briefwin reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or events outside our control.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these Terms, creates risk for the service, or is used in a way that appears abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Briefwin is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of Briefwin after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
